Applying lipliner is not only a great way to define and accentuate the shape of your lips, but also to keep your lipstick from feathering.

1. Begin applyling lipliner at the center of your natural upper lip line to define the bow then work toward the outer corners to complete the line.
2. Start at one corner of your bottom lip then follow your natural lip line all the way to the other corner.

Tip: Choose a lipliner that matches your lipstick or a flesh tone shade for a soft, natural look.

Tip: To get plumper, pinker looking lips, do not touch up by drawing a hard lip line; smudge it so lips look fuller! For a more dramatic fullness, choose a lipstick shade with a hint of frost.

Tip: To avoid lipstick on your teeth, put your index finger in your mouth and then draw it out slowly with your mouth closed. What you see on your finger is what would have ended up on your teeth!

Most of the latest hair trends for 2012 have been seen worn by brides in New York Fashion week. Braids are one of the most popular hair trends that we are seeing this season in the bridal and fashion world.

Other popular hair trends include french twists, half up half down upstyles, bridal hair accessories and ponytails.

One very trendy look for 2012 is having the hair done up, but with some pieces of hair falling down. For example, the hair could be gathered back into a bun while from the sides pieces of curled hair are escaping, giving the bride a playful and cute look while still looking like she has put some considerable effort into the look.

Hair and Makeup Brisbane

Yesterday, we participated in a fabulous shoot in Brisbane at the Powerhouse in Brisbane. We were lucky enough to be working with Professional Brisbane Photographer James Robertson from www.robertsonmedia.com.au , and up and coming Brisbane Model Leah Simcoe.

Alot of our Brisbane Brides have be requesting the classic bun as their choice of style for their wedding day. As Leah’s hair was only shoulder length, our clever hairstylist Lucie opted to use clip in hair extensions to create the fullness and volume to the bun, which otherwise wouldn’t have been achievable with Leah’s natural hair.
